Dominik Mysterio has trolled CM Punk with an old AEW clip ahead of their two house show matches later this month.

Punk is to wrestle his first WWE matches since 2014 on 26 and 30 December live events in New York City and Los Angeles, California respectively, with Dominik as his opponent. On commentary for last Friday's Cage Fury FC event, Punk took a shot at Dominik, promoting the match (h/t Figure Four Online/Wrestling Observer):

"Come out to the KIA Forum, watch me beat up Dirty Dominik. I've been wanting to punch this kid in the face since he was eight years old. Now he's legal and I'm going to destroy him."

Yesterday, Dom decided to respond by quote-tweeting a clip of Punk at the Cage Fury show. Mysterio included an old AEW gif of Punk attempting to springboard from the top rope and land a punch, only to slip on his way down, forcing him to readjustment.

To contextualise the gif, Punk broke his foot before the match clipped by Dom, ultimately forcing him to vacate the AEW World Championship. He was teaming with FTR to face the Gunns and Max Caster that night.
