If they get the main event spot, which looks likely, this will be the second consecutive year that the first night has been headlined by the SmackDown Women's Title fight. Last time out, Bianca Belair felled Sasha Banks to capture the belt for the first time, doing so after an acclaimed match considered amongst the best WWE had delivered all year.
Belair, like Rousey, scored that opportunity by winning the Royal Rumble, making their situations very similar.
If they secure this spot, Rousey and Flair will become two-time WrestleMania main-eventers, having headlined WM 35 in their Triple Threat with Becky Lynch.
Potential candidates for the night two main event would include Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch vs. Belair, though the nod will almost certainly go to Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns 'Winner Take All' WWE Title vs. Universal Title clash. Considered the biggest match WWE can possibly put together in 2022, it would be a huge surprise if Reigns and Lesnar didn't end up closing the two-night mega-show.
