Karrion Kross has revealed that AEW "proposed an idea" to him before he returned to WWE in early-August.

During an interview with The Mirror, Kross said that he was never realistically going to sign a full-time deal with the company before re-exploring his options on the WWE side. That was especially true when Vince McMahon retired and Triple H assumed full control of the company's creative operations.

Karrion's attention must've been piqued by that one.

There was another side to things too - Kross said that he and his wife Scarlett were regularly approached by fans when out and about. Those folks expressed sympathy for the way his prior WWE main roster run had gone, and wanted to know if he'd ever get the opportunity to put things right.

Kross was determined to, so he couldn't pass up the chance by darting off to Tony Khan's warm embrace and becoming #AllElite without giving things some serious thought first. In retrospect, Karrion is glad he didn't take AEW up on their unnamed proposal.

He's really enjoyed the chance to work opposite top stars like Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.
