WWE NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush and Mike Kanellis had strong words for each other in Twitter last night, with Rush shooting the serial cuckoldry victim down after a misplaced outburst from Kanellis.

Although Mike's tweet has since between deleted, Mandatory's Wrestlezone note that it read as follows: "You won 2 matches. Chill out. There’s an entire roster of Cruiserweights that we’re grinding and working their ass off for our Brand, while you were sitting at home for bad behavior. Let’s not act like you weren’t gift wrapped the cruiserweight championship."

'The Man of the Hour' was quick to respond, and did so with the following:-

For what it's worth, Kannelis' last singles victory came over Tony Nese on the 3 September episode of 205 Live. Rush, meanwhile, seized the Cruiserweight Title in an acclaimed bout with Drew Gulak on last week's NXT.

Kanellis has now wiped his Twitter account of every post apart from his release request. One would normally shout "work" in a situation like this, but what, exactly, could Kanellis be looking to set up if he's trying to engineer his way out of the company? A Cruiserweight Title shot pales in comparison to his long-term happiness.
