WWE's Plans For Killer Kross Revealed?
Big things are in the former Impact Wrestling star's future.
Killer Kross' long-expected WWE signing was confirmed earlier this month.
The move came following months of speculation over the former Impact Wrestling star's future, though WWE looked his likeliest destination when reports that Kross had met with Triple H to discuss being fast-tracked through WWE's introductory system emerged in January. Now, it's being suggested that big things are in the works for the 34-year-old.
Speaking on the Saturday Night's Main Event podcast, Dave Meltzer stated that Kross wasn't signed to take the typical NXT/Performance Center path to stardom but was instead brought to the company grabbed him for something big right away, which could mean a major main roster programme.
Meltzer ruled out the prospect of Kross facing John Cena at WrestleMania 36. Though Big Match John was originally reported to be facing Elias at 'The Showcase of the Immortals,' he is seemingly looking for a new opponent after Vince McMahon changed his mind.
Last week's SmackDown was interrupted by a notably deliberate production glitch, with Kross' name mentioned alongside Mustafa Ali as a potential culprit. Whether it's him or not, it's easy to see why WWE may opt to have Kross leapfrog NXT onto Raw or SmackDown, given his size, style, and imposing look.
