WWE's Randy Orton & Tommaso Ciampa Get HEATED On Twitter

A leg-slapping good time was had by all.

Tommaso Ciampa and Randy Orton have seemingly made social media enemies of each other.

Their beef started when 'The Viper' tweeted shortly after NXT TakeOver: In Your House had finished on Sunday evening, saying: "Heard #WWENXT #TakeoverInYourHouse was great! Slappin my leg for you guys. Sincerely #legslap."

It took him a few hours, though Ciampa eventually responded as one of the NXT's senior wrestlers: “My daughter has been having trouble sleeping. Luckily I found a remedy. Randy Orton matches. Better than NyQuil. Sincerely #AnEntireLockerRoomWhoBustedTheirAsses”

This led to Randy posting a barb that is yet to be responded to:-

So is "#legslap" the new "...dive?" Perhaps, though there's every chance this is a work, particularly as the line between NXT and the brands that would traditionally be classified as WWE's "main roster" has never been so blurred. Ciampa has also recently dialled back on prior assertions that he'd rather say black-and-gold than move to Raw or SmackDown.

Orton is Orton, though. The man doesn't give a f*ck. He'll post whatever he wants on social media regardless and given that his and Ciampa's wrestling styles are antithetical to each other, it's easy to understand why he may not have gotten much out of the latest TakeOver.
