Former WWE pair Karrion Kross and Scarlett claim that the company's escalating ticket prices are "constantly" talked about backstage by the roster. The couple spoke during an appearance on Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo's 'Coach and Bro' show, and some of the things they said were very revealing.

Scarlett chimed in on the rising ticket prices since TKO's takeover, and said that many in the locker room first noticed it when asking for comp tickets they could gift to friends or family. When she and Kross rejoined WWE in 2022, those weren't hard to come by, but things got squeezed more and more as time rolled on.

Suddenly, as if overnight, "approved" comps were put back on sale and WWE/TKO informed wrestlers that they couldn't have guest passes for their close ones after all. That was a major shift in the way WWE had been doing things, and it didn't really sit well that things were so last minute - especially if friends/family affected had already made travel plans.

Meanwhile, Karrion said that the general outlook on WWE's skyrocketing ticket pricing structure is positive behind the scenes. Explaining, he added that any wrestler would be happy to hear the promotion they're working for is doing well. However, there's a twist in the tale: "Hey, the doors stay open, everyone’s enjoying the show. But when it comes time to have conversations about renegotiating and the conversations aren’t fair, you could imagine how people would feel, right?".

He pointed out that few get into pro wrestling as a surefire way to get mega-rich. They do it for the love of their craft, and because they're willing to sacrifice a lot to entertain in a bid to put on some of the greatest matches of all time. It's only natural that workers want to be fairly compensated if the company is raking it in though.

Interesting stuff from both.
