WWE's Sonya Deville Says She Can Be "Bigger" Than Charlotte Flair

Kayfabe'd comments or sly shoot?

Smackdown star Sonya Deville told The Sun that she could be "as big if not bigger" than Charlotte Flair if she's given the same number of opportunities.

Strong words.

There was probably a touch of kayfabe about Deville's comments (most talent interviews The Sun do skirt between in-character dialogue and real-life insight), but the rising heel did also discuss how Charlotte is viewed behind the scenes in WWE's locker room.

When asked if Flair is considered entitled by WWE's women, Deville said, "Yeah, I mean, it’s a two-fold question because it’s like, does she get opportunities because of who she is? Maybe, but does she deliver every single time? For sure".

Sonya added that WWE could "throw anything" at her and she'd deliver. It's certainly hard to argue against Deville's confidence; since being programmed against her old bestie Mandy Rose, Sonya has been one of the best performers on the roster.

Her snarling heel promos have been excellent, and her MMA background should give Deville instant credibility if WWE ever do decide to push her as a top star in their women's division. Fingers crossed she gets that chance and can back up those bold words.
