They the ones...

The tandem of Jey and Jimmy Uso have been ranked #1 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated's annual Tag Team 100.

Across an assessment period that ran from 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2022, the Usos managed to hold off stiff competition to nab the top spot for the first time in the award's three-year history. Said assessment period takes into account in-ring achievement, in-ring ability, influence on your company and the wider industry, the quality of competition faced, and how active a team have been.

Much like their cousin Roman Reigns, Jey and Jimmy are enjoying the greatest run of their extensive career right now. Having toppled Rey and Dominik Mysterio to become SmackDown Tag Team Champions at July '21's Money in the Bank show, the Usos became the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions this past May when they bested RK-Bro to pick up the Raw Tag Team Titles.

In terms of the competition beaten out by the Usos in the PWI Tag Team 100 2022, FTR took second spot, the Briscoes ranked third, Death Triangle were fourth, and Hazuki and Koguma rounded out the top five.

Elsewhere, the winner of this year's PWI 500 was WWE's Roman Reigns, and the 2022 PWI Women's 150 was topped by STARDOM's Syuri.

The PWI Tag Team 100 issue is available now digitally, with the print edition on pre-order.
