Yokozuna To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall of Fame 2012

He was a headliner in the WWE in the 90's, main eventing two WrestleMania's against Bret Hart at IX and X and winning the Royal Rumble in 1993.

Yokozuna will the next announced superstar for this year's WWE Hall of Fame class of 2012. Yokozuna, real name Rodney Agatupu Anoa'i, died in October 2000 at the age of just 34. He is a distant relative of The Rock, the marquee star of this year's WWE WrestleMania 28 extravaganza in Miami, Florida and was Samoan rather than Japanese as billed. There is a huge chance that The Rock will induct Yokozuna into the WWE Hall of Fame and that it was decided this was the right year for him to give something for The Rock to do at the big night before WrestleMania ceremony. Although don't get me wrong, Yokozuna is probably deserving of a spot. He was a headliner in the WWE in the 90's, main eventing two WrestleMania's against Bret Hart at IX and X. He won the 1993 Royal Rumble and was also a two time WWF Tag Team Champion with his partner Owen Hart. He was a very good wrestler for his size and was able to give the WWE Title some credibility when he held it for 280 days straight.
