Young Bucks Vs. Lucha Bros Confirmed For AEW Double Or Nothing
Dream tag match officially announced for 25 May.
All Elite Wrestling announced yesterday evening that a dream tag team match pitting the Young Bucks against the Lucha Brothers will take place at their Double Or Nothing pay-per-view on 25 May.
The upstart promotion broke the news on Twitter last night:-
This bout was first teased when Rey Fenix and Pentagon ambushed Nick and Matt Jackson during the Double Or Nothing ticket announcement party, leaving the duo battered and beaten. The Bucks then returned the favour at AAW's Art Of War 2019 show this past Saturday (23 February), attacking the Lucha Bros after they'd lost in the night's main event, formally challenging the recent AEW signees for 25 May.
While the build means nobody should be surprised by this match's coming together, it's another sterling addition to a card that already includes Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho II, Hangman Page vs. Pac, and an OWE showcase match pitting CIMA and two Chinese wrestlers against the SoCal Uncensored trio.
The Bucks vs. Lucha Bros should be dynamite. Previous encounters in PWG and The Crash have hit all the right notes, and there's no reason to believe they won't deliver in Las Vegas, with a partisan crowd behind them, and the AEW machine in full flow.
