10 Comic Book Supervillains Who ACTUALLY Deserve A Solo Movie

8. The Riddler

Thor Ragnarok Loki
DC Comics

Usually when The Riddler appears we only get to see the end result of his contraptions, rather than the assumedly very long process it takes to set them up, sort of like how a heist movie wouldn't be satisfying without the explanation for how the team executed each part of the plan.

There are two stories in particular where seeing Nygma's perspective would be quite interesting, namely Zero Year and The War of Jokes and Riddles.

The former sees the villain cutting the entirety of Gotham off from the outside world, disabling vital services, like electricity, forcing citizens to attempt to solve, unsurprisingly, a riddle in order to save the city.

The latter is kind of a follow up to Zero Year, with the Riddler facing off against the Joker, in a city still healing, with even the likes of Deathstroke joing the fray seeing this war from the perspective of a masterminding Edward Nygma would also make for a fantastic watch.
