10 Insane Batman Crossovers You Won't Believe Existed

Where else can you hear the line “This is where I watched my parents die, Raphael”? Nowhere. Literally nowhere else.

Much like the Predator crossovers, one of the wildest things about Batman and the TMNT collaboration is that it happened twice – once at the beginning of 2016, and again at its end. They’re both equally wacky, in the way only a comic featuring the Heroes in a Half-Shell-Batman team-up can be, but that only adds to their charm.

Even stranger than that however is the difference in tone these two comics have. The first released in November, having an almost whimsical, light hearted tone and an art style reminiscent of Batman: The Animated Series, whereas the comic released from January-May held the same gritty art style we have come to expect from the dark world of the Caped Crusader.

The only common theme between these versions is that they are both unimaginably entertaining in concept alone, because a team-up between a brooding millionaire superhero and a bunch of genetically mutated ninja turtles - as absurd as it may sound - is as insane as it is beautiful.

I like my comics like I like my coffee - in huge, unquestionably unhealthy doses.
