10 Most Bizarre DC Crossover Events Since 2000

8. Doomsday Clock

Batman the Button
DC Comics

The massive, currently ongoing crossover event between the Watchmen universe and the main DC universe is one many comic book fans likely never thought they see, given DC's checkered past with Alan Moore, as well their controversial publication of his beloved graphic novel.

With that in mind, the fact that Doomsday Clock exists at all is pretty bizarre, considering how outlandish an idea the Watchmen mixing it up with the Justice League and company once seemed not too long ago.

However, Doomsday Clock also does an impressive job of being rather eccentric in its own right.

After all, this is a series that has already featured inter-dimensional travel, a murderous mime with invisible guns, the comedian's resurrection at the hands of Doctor Manhattan, the people of the DC universe all but completely turning their backs on superheroes, and a fair amount of chilling imagery.

In turn, despite the fact that it's only about halfway through, Doomsday Clock will almost surely be remembered as one of the most bizarre and likely one of the best DC crossovers in recent memory.
