10 Problems Only DC Comics Fans Will Understand

10. Too Much Batman

This is a complaint which has been around since before DC rebooted their comic book universe, making it all the more surprising that it's still valid. Batman is one of their most popular characters, so as a business, of course it's logical that they want to capitalise on that. Marvel do something similar with The Avengers, but the problem this creates is that fans ultimately end up feeling worn out seeing so much of the same character. As if having multiple solo titles isn't enough, there are also books for his supporting cast (Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, etc.) and then there are those which are just baffling additions to this corner of the DC Universe like Arkham Manor and Gotham Academy. Having so many Batman-themed books is unnecessary, especially when lesser known characters have theirs cancelled for the focus to remain on those who are "safe" options.
