10 Superheroes Who Are Too Arrogant For Their Own Good

e get that you guys are strong, powerful, smart, fast on your feet, like to look good, whatever. Maybe you could just tone it down a bit?

When you put on a costume, give yourself a colorful code-name and fight crime on a regular basis, you€™re going to draw attention to yourself. That€™s part of what makes superheroes so interesting. Despite most of them taking measures to protect their identities, superheroes are flashy individuals. Their adventures and exploits are often made public, and they develop a following. It goes with the job, unless you€™re one of those few characters who has managed to stay out of the public eye. In that case, good for you. However, just because your feats are extraordinary, this doesn€™t make you less humble. On the contrary, many heroes have managed to remain modest. Sure they feel passionate about fighting evil and protecting the innocent, but they also know that they€™re not perfect. They€™re just trying to make a difference in their own special way...which usually involves beating up bank robbers, costumed nutjobs, giant robots and alien invaders. But then there are the ones who go overboard. The characters who flaunt their powers, who think they can do no wrong, who pick fights without thinking first and show off in public. This doesn€™t make them bad people or unlikable since they€™re still protecting others, but it often means that they think quite highly of themselves. Sometimes this works to their advantage and other times it€™ll bring them crashing back down to Earth hard. It€™s easy to find villains who are arrogant. It€™s a good fit with trying to take over the world and destroy those who would oppose you. With superheroes, though there are not nearly as many options, you can still find the ones with big egos. We get that you guys are strong, powerful, smart, fast on your feet, like to look good, whatever. Maybe you could just tone it down a bit.
