10 Worst Things Lobo Has Ever Done
3. Killing His Pet Dog
If there's one thing that humanity struggles with collectively, it's seeing a dog die. Lobo has killed children, pensioners, the infirm and the innocent, and yet none of these feel quite as bad as the moment he turns on man's best friend.
Admittedly, it only feels as awful as it does because said dog - creatively named Dawg - was actually Lobo's pet, who he kept with him for a surprisingly long time on his blood-soaked adventures. However, this doesn't stop the murderous Czarnian from turning on his pet pooch, stomping it into the carpet the minute he suspects it may be possessed by one of his enemies.
It's effective as hell at establishing that Lobo is often more villainous than an anti-villain - but also comes at the sacrifice of seeing a character than many will have gained real affection for crushed under the man's boot. Every silver lining has a cloud, we suppose.
