When casting Guardians of the Galaxy, there were countless actors considered for the role of Peter Quill, and Aaron Paul was among the many to make the short list, and he even screen tested for the role. It's no doubt that the Peter Quill portrayed by Aaron Paul would definitely be worlds away from that of Chris Pratt's interpretation—one with more energetic screaming and dude-bro bravado (one could only hope we'd get a small nod to his Breaking Bad roots with an "Infinity Stones, b*tch!" or something of that variety).
