15 Greatest X-Men Villains Of All Time

14. Dark Beast

Different realities mean very different versions of characters fans know and love, and Dark Beast is a perfect example of that. A loyal follower of Apocalypse in the Age of Apocalypse reality, this Hank McCoy took great pleasure in experimenting on his fellow mutants, and it was the appalling acts which he committed in his lab which actually earned him the name "Beast" in this twisted alternate reality the X-Men wish to avoid at all cost. Worryingly, Dark Beast has infiltrated the X-Men a number of times over the years, and has aligned himself with the worst of the worst, including Mr. Sinister and Onslaught. He most recently manipulated the X-Men into battling S.H.I.E.L.D., but got his just desserts when it was revealed that the experiments he'd performed on himself were killing him, leading the villain to blow himself up in a failed attempt to kill the heroes.
