15 Most Insanely Overpowered Superheroes In The Marvel Universe

14. Nate Grey

Hulk Smash
Marvel Comics

Nate Grey is essentially a walking, talking time-bomb, but the finite limit on his powers (he's designed so that his powers will eventually kill him by Mr Sinister) doesn't distract from how insane they are in scale.

Cloned from material taken from Cyclops and Phoenix, Nate - or X-Man as he is occasionally called - is empowered, and thanks to the genetic tinkering of his creator, his powers are near limitless. At full power, he has a gamut of mind-powers that would make even Professor X envious including telekinesis, telepathy, psychometry, precognition, teleportation and astral projection.

He has the power to crush cities, to fly at supersonic speeds and create indestructible shields - so if he doesn't want to be defeated, he won't be. Plus, he also combines Phoenix's powers with those of Magneto, manipulating Earth's magnetic field as well as manipulating energy at a subatomic level. If it wasn't for the whole burn-out thing, he'd basically be the most powerful of all mutants, making a mockery of the sanctity of the X-Men by suggesting artificial ones would be superior in every way.
