Usually depicted as part man, part machine, all badass, John Corben has fought the Last Son of Krypton in comics, animations and live-action TV shows, but never film.
That almost changed when Zack Snyder was plotting his second DC film in the wake of Man of Steel, with Metallo in line to serve as Henry Cavill's next antagonist before the director opted to pit him against Gotham's finest in Batman v Superman.
However, Corben's Kryptonite-powered Cyborg is on the cards for the next movie since his creator, Emmet Vale, appeared in Dawn of Justice, played by Ralph Lister.
