Many of the most effective comic book villains are dark mirrors for the hero they oppose, and Bizarro is literally that to Superman.
Don't let his zombie-like appearance fool you - the reverse Man of Steel is as strong as his wholesome counterpart, but many of his powers are polar opposites to Kal-El's.
For instance, Bizarro possesses freeze vision instead of heat vision, flame breath rather than freeze breath, and green Kryptonite actually makes him stronger.
We've already seen Supers face off against an evil version of himself in the abysmal Superman III, which perhaps explains why filmmakers haven't called upon the Big B in any of their cinematic efforts so far, but let's hope the door to Bizarro World isn't permanently closed.
