Monica Rambeau might not be one of Marvel's most renowned characters, but she is an Avengers staple, and one who's been strangely missing from the conversation regarding the MCU's future.

Created by Roger Stern and John Romita, Jr., Monica Rambeau (as Spectrum) has been a leader of the Avengers, an ordinary member of the team and, on plenty of occasions, her own hero too. Blessed with the ability to transfer energy right across the electromagnetic spectrum, Rambeau can control pretty much every ray out there, be they cosmic, gamma or ultraviolet.

Those are some pretty inspired powers, and Rambeau's status as an established Avenger should undoubtedly help her on the path towards a live-action appearance. Whether that comes in the Avengers or in a solo movie matters not. What does matter, however, is that she gets into the MCU with a key part to play in its future.
