The Walking Dead: 10 Awesome Comic Book Characters Who Need To Appear

Few shows on television can boast such an impressive and extensive cast of characters as The Walking Dead. Even fewer kill characters off with such alarming regularity, with no sense of reverence or care for who the viewer loves.

They keep the roster changing constantly, with a huge turnover of people who either join or oppose Rick's group (or sometimes both). Such is the case that every year they have to add some more into the mix - fresh meat, as it were - to keep up with the cull.

Luckily, they have a huge resource to draw upon: over 100 issues of the comics the show is based on. While Daryl is an outlier in that he's an original creation for the series, the rest of the survivors we know and love/hate are taken from the page and put on screen; Rick, Carol, Glenn et al. Even if there are some changes, the names and general basics of their appearance and personality remain pretty similar.

Given the show's going to run for a while yet, they're going to have to scour the source material some more for new additions, and here's the best of who they should look to introduce...
