With the fourth season of AMC's The Walking Dead behind us and the smoke far from cleared, it's time to step back and speculate about what amazing moments and dire consequences await us in season five and beyond. The first four seasons of The Walking Dead have taken us, more or less, through the first nine volumes of the ongoing comic series, though the last half of Season Four picked a few choice morsels (cannibals, anyone?) from volumes Ten and Eleven. With a total of Twenty-Four volumes of The Walking Dead comic book currently available, the television series is nearing the halfway point of its established story arc. The moody, character-driven, action-packed last half of Season Four introduced us to fan favourites Abraham, Eugene, and Rosita, as well as ending on a cliffhanger with the friendly cannibals of Terminus, but these are only the tip of the coming iceberg. So what is waiting ahead? What are the moments that we simply must see? The characters we must meet? And what do these new faces and situations mean for Rick and his not-so-merry band of survivors?
