Though she's become a controversial figure in recent years, Mary Ellison, aka The Fabulous Moolah, was one of the most influential figures in women's wrestling for decades. In truth, her life would make a very interesting biopic.

If and when Hollywood decides to make Moolah's wrestling a journey a full-length motion picture (or simply feature her in a film), there's one actress in particular who would be a shoe-in to land the role — Kathy Bates.

Bates would nail the former champion's distinct southern accident, as we saw in both Fried Green Tomatoes and her brief stint of the US version of The Office.

Furthermore, Moolah displayed a mean streak in the ring and (allegedly) behind the scenes as well. Anyone who saw Kathy Bates in films like Misery knows, the actresses will have no trouble duplicating the WWE Hall of Farmer's rough demeanor.

An actress as accomplished as Kathy Bates portraying The Fabulous Moolah in the later stages of her career would be a real treat for moviegoers and wrestling fans alike.
