10 Actors Who Could Play Nathan Drake In The Uncharted Movie

8. Armie Hammer

Poor Armie Hammer can't seem to catch a break.

The Lone Ranger was shaping up to be the next Pirates of the Caribbean-sized hit before flopping hard, and last year's The Man From U.N.C.L.E. - despite being a fun, stylish, entertaining spy adventure - followed suit.

But in and around those less-than-successful blockbuster efforts have been some of the most understated performances in recent memory. He was fantastic in The Social Network as Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, and managed to hold his own opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar. Though his big-budget movies don't always pan out, it's never Hammer's fault; he's a strong actor.

He made for a cool action hero in The Lone Ranger too, capably handling his explosive set-pieces and selling a handful of potentially cheesy slo-mo moments. Uncharted will undoubtedly be full of action, and the movie needs a leading man, like Hammer, who can effectively perform in this kind of environment.

Plus, at the mammoth height of 6 feet five inches, he'd be able to bring a strong - literally - presence to the screen, and would look completely convincing when beating up goons and climbing rocky cliff-faces.
