10 Actors Who Desperately Need Their Own Netflix Movie

10. Brendan Fraser

From the late 1990s through to the early 2000s, Brendan Fraser was on top of the world, and though it seemed like his success in The Mummy franchise would make him a perennial mainstay of blockbuster cinema, by 2010 he was starring in unmitigated tosh like Furry Vengeance to pay the bills.

It's an especially sad set of circumstances as Fraser seems like a genuinely nice guy, and his recent career downturn combined with a messy divorce has resulted in large quarters of the Internet petitioning for Hollywood to give him another chance. There was even a widely-signed petition asking Hollywood to hire him again. Seriously.

While Fraser might not be able to open a major theatrical release anymore, he'd be a perfect fit for a mid-budget Netflix adventure film, given his popularity with millennials and how keenly they'd stream a movie starring a high-profile figure from their childhood.

How Likely Is It?: It makes a certain amount of business sense, and given how cutting-edge Netflix is as a company, it's easy to imagine them taking advantage of his niche appeal.

The value of spearheading a Brendan Fraser revival on the streaming platform speaks for itself. It just might happen, honestly, because Fraser would probably jump at the chance. 6/10
