6. Paranormal Activity: Kate's Brush With The Law
Paranormal Activity is a found-footage fan's delight, and even more footage was found when it arrived on DVD and Blu-Ray.
The supernatural horror came with multiple alternate endings on its home media release and one of them was certainly more eventful than the conclusion which made the cut.
The original ending sees a possessed Kate hurl her lover across the screen, no doubt killing him, but in the pick of the alternate cuts she stabs him to death.
If that isn't bloody enough for you, she then has a showdown with some police officers who arrive on the scene and is ultimately gunned down.
Director Oren Peli hasn't revealed why he chose the boyfriend-hurling ending, but leaving Kate's fate ambiguous didn't hurt Paranormal Activity's franchise potential.
