If there's one thing Marvel Studios are brilliant at doing - in addition to making damn good movies, of course - it's building towards the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. By including subtle references to existing entities from the comic books, the movies in the franchise are always cleverly hinting at things to come. So many examples of these inclusions from past movies have already come into fruition or are confirmed as imminently coming into fruition, such as Nick Fury announcing the Avengers Initiative in Iron Man, the Infinity Gauntlet appearing in the background in Thor, and Thanos turning to face the camera in the mid-credits scene of the Avengers.
