The line-up for Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was unveiled last year at a live event and, amongst a number of intriguing solo sequels and ensemble movies, there were some movies that will introduce a number of new heroes. Along with Black Panther, Captain Marvel and the Inhumans, Doctor Strange was one of those new heroes - with a 2016 date set for his movie - and the idea of the powerful Earth-based sorcerer entering the fray in this franchise is an extremely exciting one to say the least. Audiences haven't truly seen any real magic in the franchise to date, with Loki's illusions being about as close as it has got to the concept - and Thor himself has stated that Asgardian magic is essentially just science that the people of Earth are yet to grasp. With that in mind, new realms will be discovered and a plethora of new possibilities will be unearthed and Marvel Studios have cast Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch with the responsibility of showing them to fans.
