6. Baron Mordo Will Be The Only Villain

There have been a number of villains suggested as potential antagonists for Doctor Strange in his first Marvel Cinematic Universe outing, with the likes of Dormammu, Umar, Baron Mordo, Nightmare, Mephisto, Shuma Gorath and even Loki and the real Mandarin - or combinations of that group - brought up in conversations as the potential bad guys. Frankly, it's more than likely that there will only be one villain and that it will be the comparatively dull Baron Mordo (that's not to say he won't be a great live action villain, just that he's a much less extravagant character than the likes of Dormammu and Shuma Gorath, for example). Mordo was the apprentice of the Ancient One prior to Doctor Strange and the two came to magical blows when Mordo plotted to kill the master sorcerer. Daniel Bruhl is set to appear as an as yet unnamed character in Captain America: Civil War and it is believed said character will go on to be Strange's villain. Therefore, it's highly likely that Bruhl will be playing Mordo.
