10 Marvel Cinematic Universe Villains Who Need To Make A Comeback

10. The Destroyer

Appeared In: Thor. Now, the Destroyer isn't a villain, per se, but his role in Thor's first outing presented him as both a tool for good (when controlled by Odin) and a tool for evil (when controlled by Loki). As such, he's defined as an antagonist thanks to his battle with Thor on Earth, falling into the villain category by default. After his defeat, it was revealed that S.H.I.E.L.D. had his remains in custody, studying the technology behind him to create things like the prototype gun Agent Coulson confronted Loki with in The Avengers that popped up a few more times on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. For all intents and purposes, the original Destroyer is gone, but several years have gone by now with Loki secretly sitting on the throne of Asgard. It would be fitting if he's since managed to create an even bigger, badder Destroyer 2.0 to once again guard Odin's Vault - which, lest we forget, is currently home to an Infinity Stone - and serve as his bodyguard.
