10 Movie Ratings IMDB Got Horribly Wrong

origen_inception_2010_20 Whilst I admit I am a regular consultant to the IMDB website, I've always thought that several of its members don't always know what they're talking about when it comes to rating films. It seems like users frequently jump onto the bandwagon when writing their reviews, rather than voicing their own opinions on a film. As a result of this, the IMDB Top 250, a previously reliable list, is now inundated with a huge quantity of mediocre, run-of-the-mill movies which will long be forgotten in the annals of history. You may say that these ratings are down to nothing more than personal opinion and thus I am being harsh in criticizing them, however over the years this website has held host to a multitude of ridiculous movie ratings that only the minority agree with. I've particularly detected that the website tends to heavily overrate any movie made my Christopher Nolan or Quentin Tarantino, regardless of its stature, and as far as IMDB is concerned, this duo can do no wrong. The users of IMDB have also demonstrated the potential to completely disregard top quality films and modern greats, even though their brilliance is blindingly blatant to the masses. So in this list, I'm going to work my way through 10 movies in particular, which I believe to have been either completely overrated or underrated by the (at times) ignorant users of IMDB. Furthermore, for each movie I will state my own personal rating, so you can grasp how poorly I think these movies have been valued.
