Veteran director Gary Marshall, now 81, has already made terrible, insufferable movies about holidays Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve, and now there's... Mother's Day? For real? A fully-fledged movie about Mother's Day? Is that what's actually happening, Hollywood? Is this the point that we've collectively reached? Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve were both met with critical distain upon release, of course, garnering scores of 18% and 7%, respectively.
