Every decade or so, Hollywood seems to get an influx of new talent. These actors and actresses appear seemingly out of nowhere, win the hearts of audiences, and before you know it, are the new A-Listers. Some actors achieve fame on television before jumping into feature films, others jump right into the film world and stand out amongst their more recognizable cast members. As you know, everyone has to start somewhere, and the latest batch of "new" actors in Hollywood have actually been around for quite a while, fighting their way to the top of the cultural zeitgeist before becoming truly successful. I've compiled a list of ten of these actors we all know and love, who've actually been around a lot longer than you might think...
10. Nicholas Hoult
Nicholas Hoult has become increasingly busy over the last couple years, after playing Hank McCoy, AKA Beast, in X-Men First Class in 2011, then landing the lead role in Warm Bodies and Jack the Giant Slayer earlier this year. NextMovie.com named him one of the "Breakout Stars to Watch for in 2011," and will be appearing in five films in the next two years. Though he certainly is a rising star to watch out for, the 23 year old Brit has been acting since the age of seven, first appearing in the film Intimate Relations in 1996. His breakout role was About a Boy in 2002, and since then he's acted in a handful of movies and TV shows, but has largely kept out of the limelight until now.
