Avengers: Age of Ultron is one of 2015's most highly anticipated releases, perhaps even more so than returning franchise favourites like Jurassic World and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. When you think about the interconnected universe Marvel has created, though, it really shouldn't come as that much of a surprise; their movies can now count themselves as some of the best-loved in film right now. The Avengers is the second highest grossing movie of all time, with a gross of over $1.5 billion, and it now remains to be seen whether or not the sequel will be able to beat that massive haul. With a movie as big as Avengers: Age of Ultron, it's inevitable then that the production will be surrounded by almost countless rumours. Some are more believable than others, while it's impossible to picture some of these ever becoming a reality. You never know though - even the most outlandish bit of speculation has ended up being confirmed in the past.
