10 Questions You Should Be Asking About Batman Vs Superman

The burning questions surrounding Zack Snyder's mega-blockbuster.

When it was first announced that instead of Man of Steel 2 audiences would be getting Batman v Superman, the project instantly established itself as one of the biggest blockbusters that Hollywood has ever attempted. Two iconic superheroes that have remained enduringly popular for almost a century finally appearing in the same movie, with their previous cinematic outings generating billions of dollars in box office revenue in movies that ranged from the very good to the very bad. Then the backlash started. Ben Affleck was cast as Batman to a hugely negative fan reaction, surely due to the fact that he played the title role in the underwhelming Daredevil, seeing as he had successfully reinvented himself as a critically adored actor, writer and director over the last decade. Jesse Eisenberg took the role of Lex Luthor, Gal Gadot was announced as Wonder Woman and suddenly many fans were predicting an unmitigated disaster. With the recent announcement of DC's slate of comic book adaptations right through to 2020, Batman v Superman comes burdened with the added pressure of trying to hastily establish a shared cinematic universe in a movie that already serves as a Man of Steel sequel and a reboot for the Dark Knight. With the movie currently in the middle of shooting, plenty of leaked set photos and unconfirmed rumors have been making their way around the internet, with everyone eager to analyze and dissect each and every sliver of information surrounding the project. With that in mind, this article will take a look at ten questions you should be asking about Batman v Superman and will attempt to answer them based on fact, rumor and a whole lot of speculation. How do you think Batman v Superman will turn out? Do you think Warner Bros. have bitten off more than they can chew with the recent slate of comic book movies? Are there any other questions that need answering? As always, sign off in the comments below.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
