10 Questions You Should Be Asking About Batman Vs Superman

10. When Will We See Some Footage?

At this year's San Diego Comic-Con, Zack Snyder appeared in Hall H with Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot to present a brief teaser for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The footage shows Affleck's Caped Crusader standing on a rain-soaked rooftop, sporting an armored Batsuit before uncovering the Batsignal. The camera moves towards the sky and focuses on Cavill's Superman bathed in the signal's spotlight, his eyes glowing red. Cut to the film's logo, and the crowd goes wild. While bootleg versions of the footage have frequently appeared online before being swiftly taken down, a high-resolution version is yet to be released online for the general public's viewing consumption. With the movie currently in the midst of principal photography, and Snyder's willingness to release official images long in advance, when might we see some actual footage from the hugely-anticipated blockbuster? With the movie not set for release until March 2016, it could be a while before we see any footage from the project. However, a recent rumor claimed that teaser trailer is 'complete and ready to go' and could even be attached to Warner Bros. next mega-budget project, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. While it seems unlikely to release a teaser trailer a whole 16 months before release date, the anticipation surrounding the project (not to mention the disappointing domestic box office for the previous two Hobbit movies) could see Warner Bros. steadily releasing small snippets of footage over the next year in order to establish the rapid expansion of their shared cinematic universe.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
