Movies aren’t supposed to hold up to “real world logic,” and everyone – including the filmmakers who let various plot holes slip by – knows it. Still, there is something unexplainably satisfying in realising that a movie has a huge plot hole that renders it somewhat implausible. And what do you know? Here there are, presented in a handy list format for your reading pleasure. No, they don’t ruin the movies entirely, but – let’s face it – they’re at least interesting enough to talk about.

Here, then, are the 10 most ridiculous plot holes in 2013 movies. How many did you spot already?
