10 Terrible Films Made By The Goonies Cast

1 The Goonies is a well loved children's movie from the 80's about a group of kids who go on a wild adventure after they kind a treasure map. The Goonies features early performances from well-known actors such as Sean Astin, Josh Brolin and Corey Feldman. The Goonies has become something of a classic movie and the actors have gone on to make some other excellent movies... And some not so good movies. Both blockbuster hits and limited released films ranging from failed comedy, drama and action, The Goonies cast members have done some poor movies in their respected careers. Here are just ten examples of such...

10. Josh Brolin- The Mod Squad and Jonah Hex

One day in the late 90€™s some studio executive had the idea to reboot The Mod Squad. It starred future television celebrities Omar Epps, Claire Danes and Giovanni Ribisi, an actor who has not yet managed to get famous. The Mod Squad was a failed attempt to reinvent the classic 70€™s TV Show for Generation X. The movie was criticized for its overall disappointing, lazy nature and for being simply not cool when it clearly should have been. Josh Brolin, who played Mikey€™s older brother in The Goonies plays the love interest of Claire Danes and is neither the worst part of the movie, the best part, or the main character and is completely forgettable in a movie best left forgotten. 2 Many years later, comic book movies were in vogue and some executive had the genuinely solid idea of turning cool western comic book character Jonah Hex and casting Josh Brolin as said character. The good decisions for the movie stop there. Megan Fox is cast as the love interest despite having less than zero chemistry with Brolin and once again having not much character development other than being very good looking. John Malkovich plays the villain and the entire time I watched the movie I couldn€™t help thinking about all the other movies he could have made during the time it took him to shoot this; surely he has better things to do, although apparently not. Jonah Hex is not as bad a film as some of the ones on this list but it€™s not good either. It sits awkwardly in the space between almost decent action movie and so-bad-it€™s good action movie.
