10. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas - Cindy Lou Who's Anthropomorphic Appearance
It is really easy to overlook details in animated movies. I'm totally okay with it, most of the time. However, when it comes to The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, it's pretty obvious that one of these things is not like the other, namely Cindy Lou Who. The Grinch is a horribly disfigured, fur covered monster who tortures a land of prairie dog/bear/weird looking creatures who want nothing more than to enjoy a present-free Christmas to prove to everyone else that they're better than them. Whatever. It is no f***ing surprise that Cindy Lou Who warms the heart of the Grinch as he is mid-pillage. Why? Because she looks like an adorable little girl! She doesn't look like a Who, she doesn't look like a monster, she looks like a little baby human girl who would warm everyone's heart with her naive look at life as we know it. Where does she come from? Her parents are gross, everyone else in the town looks gross, so where on Earth did this beautiful angel come from? The same thing happens in the real life version as well. Young, unmarred, pre-Gossip Girl Taylor Momson was ten times more human-like than the rest of the cast. If I was in the cast, as if I could ever be so lucky, I would secretly be mad as hell that I had to look like such a jackass while Taylor Momson got to look adorable.
