Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy has finally come to a completion. A well-thought out, well-orchestrated, and generally well done story arc, spread across three movies, and one which not only single-handedly changed not only comic books movies, but all of cinema. And now we get to sit back and let the Batman legacy rest for a while as we ponder how awesome it's b..... wait, what's that? They're already planning to reboot the Batman series?! But, didn't they just reboot it, like literally less than 10 years ago? Aw, well... looks as though Hollywood wants to dig up the still-warm corpse of the franchise and send it back to us. I suppose we should embrace it, and take this opportunity to discuss who we'd like to see as the villain in the next movie (the only rule: We will
not use villains who have appeared in Nolan's trilogy as a primary antagonist). Let's start with...
12. Deadshot
Who He Is: A hired assassin who gets his name from the claim that he never misses. First introduced in June 1950, he claims to be a hero helping rid Gotham of crime, though he's later revealed by Batman to be a criminal himself. Since then, he's gone on to feature in numerous comics, cartoons, and video games as one of the primary villains.
Special Powers/Skills: He uses numerous weapons, primarily two wrist-mounted guns with silencers, making him a particularly effective assassin. Add to this his aforementioned claim of never missing, and he makes for one of the most capable Batman villains of all time.
Who Should Portray Him: Edgar Ramirez, seen in The Bourne Ultimatum and Vantage Point.
