With so many Hollywood productions opting to shoot partially or even entirely in the UK right now, a sprinkling of Britishness is certainly desirable, but what about those truly British movies, either funded by a British studio, dominated by a British cast and crew, or created as a co-production with other countries? Whether these movies are about being British in today's world, are adapted from British source material or have some sort of UK-based DNA, each movie represents the very best of what the country has had to offer so far this decade.
