14. Julian Dennison Is Playing Pyro - Deadpool 2

The exact nature of Julian Dennison's role in Deadpool 2 was kept suspiciously under wraps until the movie hit cinemas, though footage of him surrounded by fire seemed to indicate that he would be playing a rebooted version of the X-Men's pyro-kinetic mutant Pyro.

As it happened, Dennison was in fact playing the decidedly lesser-known Rusty Collins aka Firefist, who pretty much possesses the same fire-controlling powers.

One can't help but suspect that Ryan Reynolds and co. knew exactly what they were doing here, toying with expectations and pulling the rug out at the last moment just for a giggle.
