15 Terrible Looking 2015 Movies That Will Shockingly Make A Profit

15. Alvin & The Chipmunks 4: Road Chip

Why It Looks Terrible: For starters, it's being directed by the guy behind classics such as Wild Hogs and Old Dogs, and the writer is responsible for the rancid Dwayne Johnson-starring comedy vehicle Tooth Fairy (though in fairness, she did also write the iconic Mrs. Doubtfire). Plus, the punny title, and, well, the fact that each of the three previous movies have been completely wretched works of cinema. What else is there to know? How It Will Make A Profit: Because kids seem to love these movies, and considering that they typically need at least one parent to accompany them (and will frequently have another brother or sister come along too), it's not too surprising that the series has generated grosses of $1.1+ billion to date. Though the previous movie, Chipwrecked, grossed almost $100 million less than the second one, these films are produced cheaply enough that they almost can't not make money.
