Best: A Star Is Born (2018)

Lady Gaga is still primarily known as a musician, so it should come as no surprise that there's not a lot to choose from on her acting CV so far. Even if there was, she'd probably struggle to do anything much better than her turn in A Star Is Born.

Despite questions over the chemistry between her and Bradley Cooper, her Ally is great and there's magic in her musical performances that completely sells why Cooper's Jackson Main is so enthralled by her.

Worst: Machete Kills (2013)

Before she became a Serious Actor with A Star Is Born, Gaga appeared in both Machete Kills and Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, because apparently she has a thing for inferior Robert Rodriguez sequels. Neither is great, but the fact that she plays a shape-shifting assassin in Machete Kills without it being at all fun is the killer blow.
