20 Reasons Why the Original Arthur is the Greatest Comedy of All Time

3. The Cars

Sooooo many awesome cars are featured in Arthur. For gear heads, this is probably one of the best movies to stare at vehicles you'll never see in person. Even for non-gear heads, these cars are supreme.

I believe the automobiles are as follows: 1956 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith Touring Limousine - Arthur's main car driven by Bitterman 1947 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith Touring Limousine - the car used by Arthur's aunt Martha Bach 1937 Packard 120 - driven by Arthur when he picked up Susan on the night they got engaged 1978 Porsche 924 - driven by Arthur at the racing track

4. The Moose Jokes

The series of moose jokes Arthur drunkenly unleashes at Burt Johnson's house is comedy gold, pure and simple. I'd be hard-pressed to find a funnier extended scene in any movie. I literally laugh out loud every time I think of Arthur's "Where's the rest of this moose?" line.

It's even said that one of the lighting engineers laughed so hard during the filming of the "moose" scene that he fell off his step ladder. Now that's funny.
