4 Tantalising Clues In The New Interstellar Trailer

Everything we learned about Christopher Nolan's new sci-fi film.

Christopher Nolan likes to play games. His first film proper, Memento, was purposefully presented out of chronological order, so it worked like a puzzle the audience had to piece together. The latter two of his Dark Knight trilogy came bundled with a complex viral marketing campaign that sent fans scrambling to solve further head scratchers in return for trailers and photos. He's a dab hand when it comes to hide and seek at family gatherings, too (citation needed). For his next trick, he's got us poking around and entering secret codes to get the brand new trailer for his upcoming sci-fi thriller Interstellar. As is his way, Nolan has been particularly coy when it comes to giving up any info about Interstellar - and this is after we've already seen two separatetrailers for the Matthew McConaughey-starring blockbuster. This third teaser for the movie, originally unveiled during San Diego Comic-Con this weekend gone, is tucked away on the official Interstellar website. You have to enter the code 7201969 - the date the Apollo 11 mission touched down on the Moon for the first time - to get at it, but it's worth the trouble, because it's given us our best view of the film so far. Or if you don't think it's worth the trouble, and still want to know exactly what the third Interstellar trailer reveals about the film, we've got you covered. Here are four tantalising clues we've managed to pinpoint for you, lazybones.
