6 Creepy Films On Netflix You Haven’t Seen

5. The Invitation (2016)

Reunions with your ex-wife are always fun, as this film delightfully highlights by focusing on Eden’s happiness in front of our man Will, who seemingly took the tragedy that split them much harder than her. To call this film an emotional roller coaster would be a an understatement in this regard as we watch this group of people deal with these emotions in starkly different ways. This serves as the main focus for a long period of time, but what this develops into is something quite unbelievable.

Its appears to be a fairly happy reunion for most at first, but peculiar characters and questionable emotions leave a bitter taste in the mouth for Will and us the viewers. It’s a slow-builder and it uses tension and mystery masterfully to make you question what the hell is going on right until the end. Speaking of which, this film has possibly one of the most open-ended climaxes to any horror film of the past few years.

I watch, then I write. It could gory horror movies or confusing yet loveable cult hits like Donnie Darko. So have a look at what I write, or don't. It's fine, I don't mind.
